this mug is bigger than my mug. . .

Color is a big concern at our house. Notice the ikea kids plates. . . and if you don't get a matching cup, then life is not complete. Eth had taken the cup that sid felt was hers. . . so to squash the squabble I gave her the Nintendo Mug, hubby brought home from his last trip. The boys were severely envious, but the part I liked was that "the Mug" was bigger that her face. . .

This is squid and her friend, on the first photo I took of them they were closing their eyes. . . so here we have sid physically keeping her eyes open. Too Funny.The hubby and I both agree that Kayzer was looking like he could go change water in the irrigation canal with those boots on. They totally reminded me of the farmers and their boys riding around on their motorbikes with a shovel hanging off the back on route to change irrigation water. Maybe you had to grow up in a farming community to understand. . .

The past two days have been like summer, I absolutely LOOOOOVVE it! It has been over a month since we have seen the sun. The kids were wearing shorts in 60 degree weather. It makes me more anxious for summer more than ever.

Silly Sally, so silly. .

So I actually took this yesterday at lunch, but thought it was appropriate that the rule at dinner tonight was that if you got off your chair without being excused you were in trouble. We have serious issues with children staying seated during a meal. It is either hitting the sibling closest to them, standing on their chair, jumping down and walking around while still eating, or whining and pestering everyone else when you don't like what is on the table. SERIOUSLY! And this one in the middle just Loves to pose whenever a camera is near, she instantly goes into pose mode. Silly Sid, silly, silly. . .

so this is what happens when you let a two year old run loose in your house for days on end. My kids have pretty much been ignored for days. which brings us to the next picture. . . This is the aftermath of three days of making signs to sell for sassymei, these are the ones that never made it there. The other bazillion did, at least that is what it felt like.

This is why I crammed weeks worth of sign making into a few days. . . because I was repainting my entry way and front room. They used to be ORANGE. . . and now they are . . . not! I was sad to see the orange glow go, but love, love, love the bright plain wall that I have. I also painted the trim which has been on for a long time, but I hadn't finished caulking and painting until now. I still have the kitchen and family room trim to paint. . . but it feels very good .. . and I am motivated to be done with that project.

I totally know everyone is busy, but that is my excuse for my lame blog that is rarely updated these days. Once we got back from our "Visit Family" trip the empty calendar turned into overbooked. We are attacking it one event at a time, which means I only focus and worry about the next thing on the calendar. I bring much of it on myself, so there is no one to blame but I. I need more hours in the day. . . Seriously!

I have to say I have never in my life experienced a Day Light Savings time change that I actually noticed anything too different. . . UNTIL NOW! I have been sooo tired, and have had a horrible time with Meniere's episodes. I have no proof that it has anything to do with it, BUT I totally am blaming it on DLS.

(Stress could be a factor, but I feel better about blaming it on something else.. . haha)

It has been forever since I have done any signs or stuff for Painted Crate, But Carlen and I are coming out of retirement, ha ha. We have discovered this great boutique started out of Maple Valley which does shows periodically and they are fabulous. So we are trying it out as a vendor to see how it goes. It will be at the Elk Run Golf Course club house March 27th, and 28th. I have been to one before, and they have all kinds of great stuff. From Home Decor and clothes, to baby items and food they have a little of everything. It will be fun to see how it works out for us. Wish us Luck!
